Position Overview

As a Sleep Technologist , you'll play a vital role in helping diagnose and treat sleep disorders through overnight and daytime sleep studies. You'll work directly with patients, operate advanced diagnostic equipment, collect and analyze physiological data, and collaborate with physicians to provide accurate information that guides treatment decisions.

What You'll Do

• Prepare patients and explain sleep study procedures
• Set up and calibrate polysomnographic equipment
• Monitor patients throughout sleep studies while ensuring comfort and safety
• Collect and document physiological data, including:
  • EEG
  • EOG
  • EMG
  • ECG
  • Respiratory effort
  • Airflow
  • Oxygen saturation
• Analyze data and prepare reports for physician review
• Troubleshoot and maintain diagnostic equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to support exceptional patient care

QualificationsRequired

✔ High school diploma or equivalent
✔ Completion of an accredited polysomnography training program
✔ RPSGT certification, BRPT registered
✔ Current BLS certification
✔ Knowledge of sleep disorders and polysomnographic procedures
✔ Ability to work overnight shifts in a clinical setting

Preferred

⭐ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
⭐ Experience with advanced sleep diagnostic equipment and software
⭐ CST and/or RRT certification
⭐ Experience with patient education and counseling
⭐ Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation platforms
