Respiratory Therapist

12-hour night shifts, typically 36 hours per week with potential for more. Weekend and holiday requirements apply.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience required.
• Must be a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist or eligible to take the NBRC written examination.
• Vermont state licensure required as a respiratory care practitioner.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP are required; PALS is also preferred.
• NICU experience within the last year is required.
• Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to patients across all age groups.
• Manage ventilators and other respiratory care equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health.
