Respiratory Supervisor - Full Time, Days (Hollywood) - 11494

Position Summary The Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy is responsible for the day-to-day clinical and operational oversight of the Respiratory Therapy Department under the direction of the Director/Manager of Respiratory Therapy. Assists in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality respiratory care services in compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practice. The Supervisor coordinates staffing assignments, assists with scheduling, monitors departmental workflow, and supports quality improvement initiatives. Promotes collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient care delivery and departmental operations. Provides leadership, education, mentoring, and support to respiratory therapy staff while serving as a clinical resource and role model. Responsible for assisting with employee coaching, orientation, competency assessments, and performance improvement activities. Required Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of respiratory care experience with at least three (3) year(s) in a lead or supervisory role preferred Current Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the State of California Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage workflow Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree preferred Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred Previous acute care supervisory experience preferre d Physical Requirements Indicate physical requirements for performing the essential functions of the job by double clicking and selecting 'checked' on the boxes below.
