Role: Tax Manager
Location: Erie, CO
We’re seeking a Tax Manager to lead our Erie-based team, oversee tax return quality, streamline workflows, and build a strong, collaborative team culture. This is an opportunity to step into a genuine leadership role where your decisions matter and your ideas can make a difference.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee tax return review, quality control, and final sign-off.
- Manage workflow, deadlines, and the seasonal tax preparation calendar.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and professional development.
- Establish and maintain high standards for tax return accuracy and compliance.
- Build an efficient, supportive, and high-performing team.
- Improve processes and take ownership of day-to-day office operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Active CPA or EA credential in good standing.
- Strong tax review experience across Forms 1040, 1120-S, and 1065, including multistate returns.
- Proficiency in ATX or UltraTax; experience with other professional tax software will also be considered.
- Previous team management experience or a demonstrated ability to step into a leadership role.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead both in-person and remote team members.
