Patient Population: Emergency Department Patients
Setting: Emergency Department
Responsibilities:
- Emergency Department physician coverage
- Supervision of Advanced Practice Providers
Required Procedures:
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff:
- 1-2 Physicians during day hours
- 1 Physician during night hours
- 1-2 Advanced Practice Providers
On-Call/Weekends: No On-Call Requirement
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified FP or ABEM Required
- Active Iowa License or IMLC Required
- Clean Background Required
- ACLS & PALS through AHA (waived if ER boarded); ATLS required for trauma privileges Required
