Accounting Intern | RAM Construction Services The Tone: This is an Accounting Intern position at RAM Construction Services, located in their main office building. RAM Construction Services, established in 1918, is the oldest and most experienced waterproofing and restoration contractor in the United States, employing the largest and most experienced skilled labor force in the Midwest. This role is crucial for supporting the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and contributing to various essential accounting processes for a company focused on relationships and excellence. The TL;DR Role: Internship Location: In-person, main office building Pay: $22 hourly Mission: This person will support the accounting department by preparing reports, tracking invoices, performing data entry, and assisting with various financial processes. Tech Stack: Excel, Microsoft Office, Outlook, e-mail, word processing What You’ll Actually Do Reporting: Help prepare invoice and expense reports for various financial transactions. Financial Analysis: Assist in collecting and preparing monthly financial reports for review by the accounting team. Communication: Communicate with accounts payable and accounts receivable teams to track invoices and other essential information. Data Entry: Perform accurate data entry for accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivables, and other processing tasks. Organization: Create and maintain organized filing systems for all accounting-related documents and records. The Must-Haves Background: Currently working towards completing a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Accounting or Finance degree program. Experience: No specific years of experience required; must be attending a college or university in a related degree program. Skills: Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel, and creative problem-solving skills.
