Cone Shift Supervisor

Lead and maintain the operation of all areas on a shift to the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity Manage the overall operation of cone production Ensure training is completed properly and coach production line employees as needed Prepare shift schedules, including line assignments/rotations, employee breaks, and overtime assignments Facilitate shift meetings Resolve employee attendance issues with the shift attendance resource person Gather performance data for team evaluation and performance appraisals Act as arbitrator for team issues Operate within standard operating procedures and job safety requirements Communicate with other Team Leaders, the Quality Department, and Plant Management Ensure a clean and safe work area Ensure safety policies and programs are followed Assist in production as necessary Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Must be able to speak, listen, and effectively communicate with team members Actively participate in and effectively lead team/department meetings and initiatives Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization Able to analyze / interpret technical information, mathematical concepts, and form conclusions Detail oriented with strong organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure Able to gather, organize, compile, and summarize data Operate within standard operating procedures and job safety Follow direction and perform assigned work duties independently with minimal supervision Frequent bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting, and lifting/carrying up to 75 pounds Must have ability to climb stairs and access all areas of the office and plant Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours Adherence to the company attendance policy is required, including expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absences Experience with Microsoft Word is required Experience in
