POSITION: Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) - Home Healthcare Location: Mountain Home

PAY & INCENTIVES

• $30 to $38 per hour depending on related experience
• Bonus opportunity available
• $4,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • $2,000 at 60 days
  • $2,000 at 180 days
• Company van provided for daily route coverage and patient visits

SCHEDULE & COVERAGE

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Full time field-based role with daily travel to patient homes

COVERAGE AREA

• Mountain Home and surrounding territory
• Primary service area includes both Arkansas and Missouri patients

ON CALL EXPECTATIONS

• This location has one Respiratory Therapist covering call responsibilities
• RT is responsible for after-hours patient and equipment needs
• Time off and call coverage are coordinated directly with management
• Candidates should be comfortable with a high level of autonomy and responsibility

LOCATION REQUIREMENT

• Must reside within 25 miles of Mountain Home, Arkansas

INTERVIEW PROCESS

• First interview conducted face to face with the Local Clinical Manager
• Area Manager will participate virtually

VA & LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

• RRT or CRT only
• RN and LPN candidates are not eligible for this position
• This is a VA supported location and the RT performs all VA oxygen setups
• Must hold an active Arkansas or Missouri RT license based on state of residence
• Must be willing to obtain the neighboring state license within 30 days of hire if not already licensed
• Rotech will pay for the nonresident state license

OVERVIEW

This is a full-time respiratory therapy role focused on providing respiratory care directly in patients' homes.

• Conduct in home patient assessments
• Provide education on respiratory equipment and prescribed therapies
• Set up and adjust ventilators and oxygen therapy equipment per physician orders
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Provide ongoing patient follow up and support
• Perform VA oxygen setups and respiratory services
• Participate in afterhours patient support and call coverage
• Assist with training and onboarding of clinical team members

QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT) required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Must reside within 25 miles of Mountain Home

PREFERRED

• Home healthcare experience
• DME experience
• Respiratory therapy experience
• Degree in respiratory therapy or related field
• At least one year of clinical experience

SKILLS

• Strong patient education and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent time management and organization
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
• Ability to build trust and rapport with patients and caregivers

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Email and electronic documentation systems
• Standard office and communication equipment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift and transport patient equipment up to 65 lbs
• Daily driving and travel throughout assigned territory
• Standing, walking, sitting, talking, and listening for extended periods
• Exposure to patient environments and potential health risks
• Must comply with N95 fit testing and respiratory protection requirements
