Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Physician Opportunity

Advocate Health is seeking an Internal Medicine/Pediatrics physician to join our physician-led medical group and serve its patients at Aurora Health Center - Edgerton Avenue. Highlights include:

• Replacement for retiring physician, creating an opportunity for both inherited patients and practice growth.
• Group currently consists of: 4 Med/Peds physicians (total), 2 APPs (used primarily for overflow coverage)
• Clinic hours range from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, creating a flexible schedule in that time period.
• Physicians complete newborn rounding at West Allis Women's Pavilion. Physicians round one mornings per week and then return to clinic.
• Teaching residents with MCW is an option, but it is not required.
• Call Structure, shares Med/Peds call with the New Berlin Med/Peds group and pediatric call with the 84 South group.
• Low call volume where nurse triage line handles 90% of the calls
• Highly collaborative physician group with strong communication and teamwork.
• Established clinic with a long-standing reputation in the community.
• Extensive on-site resources including, referral specialists, social work
• Large multispecialty clinic environment with broad specialty access.
• Support Structure, centralized patient calls and triage handled through PACT/call center.
• Dedicated support includes: 2 on-site RNs supporting Med/Peds, assigned Medical Assistant support, RN responsibilities include: triage, patient education, nurse visits, prior authorizations, vaccine support
• APPs primarily function as overflow providers.
