Pharmacy Technician

Job Duties
Help process medication orders in computerized systems and extract key drug information from charts or patient interviews.
Interpret patient information related to correct use, dosage, administration, interactions, and side effects.
Perform bulk compounding.
Assess compounded products.
Prepare sterile and non-sterile products.
Maintain controlled-substance records.
Execute technical computer functions such as transcribe prescriptions, operate pharmacy automation/robotics, and manage medication profiles and fill data.
Ensure proper storage conditions and assist with supply activities.
Support pharmacists by assisting with drug-utilization review, quality assurance, improvement activities, and guide less experienced staff.
