Description Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Department: Dispensary FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Type: Full Time Location: Primarily based in Roseville and Maplewood, with travel to Eagan as needed and to Faribault approximately every 4 to 6 weeks. Job Summary Tareen Dermatology is hiring for a full-time Pharmacy Technician. We are a growing physician-owned Dermatology practice located in the Twin Cities Metro. Job Responsibilities Receive prescriptions from Tareen Dermatology providers. Capture appropriate patient information. Process electronic and written prescriptions quickly and accurately. This includes new and refill prescriptions. Assist in preparation and dispensing of medications, including insurance adjudication, counting, labeling, and selling. Complete basic tasks without the review of others. Resolve insurance issues, including step therapy, prior authorizations, and drug utilization review per department policy. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the computer system. Complete special orders or projects to meet customer needs. Respond to internal and external customer and employee inquiries in a professional and customer-focused manner. Take inbound calls and make outbound calls as needed. Handle cash register transactions accurately. Performs administrative duties as assigned. Assist in inventory control duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned.
