Working closely with cross-functional teams in both business and technical areas, the Project Management Intern will contribute to project work, analyze information, and support the development of solutions that address organizational needs. The Project Management Intern is responsible for learning and applying specific aspects of the organization's processes, programs, and technologies while demonstrating increasing independence and ownership of assigned deliverables.This role will also need to:Own components of project work and deliverables with guidance from an assigned mentor and manager.Conduct research, analyze data and information, and develop recommendations that inform real business decisions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams.Support departmental initiatives that improve business outcomes and the member and client experience.Develop and deliver a final internship presentation to department leadership covering the project, results, and recommendations.Maintain complete confidentiality of company business and comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, and applicable compliance policies.What Do You Need To Be Successful?Assist project manager with managing projects and subprojects/work effortAssist in developing project deliverables including project plans, schedules, and status reportsHelp to facilitate and prepare meetings by scheduling and coordinating agendas and materials, documenting meeting minutes, following up on action items, gathering, organizing, and distributing project-related documentation.Will be responsible for providing project management support under the supervision of the PMO supervisor or manager.Help to manage financials and resources utilizing the Project Portfolio Management Software.Prior internship experience is a plusLeadership experience is a plusExperience with project coordination/management and stakeholder management is a strong plusStrong attention to detail and organizational skills is a strong plusDemonstrated interpersonal skills including verbal and written communicationPractical, developed PC skills, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookWhat Are the Requirements You Must Meet?Pursuing a bachelor's degree; rising senior with a major in project management, computer science, IT, or business.
