Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides a comprehensive curriculum for advanced Visual Arts. Teaches Sections of Art 2, Advanced Art, and AP art Assist with the implementation of best classroom practices in accordance with local and state standards. Collaborates with the Fine Arts Director in the planning and preparation of the annual Fine Arts Showcase. Collaborates with the Elementary, Middle, and High School Visual Arts team to create high quality vertical alignment within the district. Has exceptional organizational skills. Has taught Art prior to current employment. Advocates for Fine Arts scholar needs. Attends ongoing professional development with the district Fine Arts team Maintain a safe and productive classroom environment Is an active member of TAEA Annually participates in V.A.S.E.
