Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Family Matters Health Care Clinic, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, emotional resilience, and overall mental health improvement.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address trauma-related issues.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma experiences while developing healthy coping strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring that every aspect of a patient's health is addressed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse population consisting primarily of individuals experiencing the effects of trauma. You will also engage with clients coping with complex trauma and dissociative disorders, providing tailored care that addresses the unique challenges presented by these conditions.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating your ability to effectively work with trauma-affected individuals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
