Seeking entry-level Shipping and Receiving Clerk that is responsible for managing the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. Candidate will collaborate and communicate with the parts manager, administrative assistants, service department, and sales staff to ensure proper shipment and receiving of goods. Shipping and Receiving Clerk tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensures that all orders have been filled correctly.

Job duties include preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments, organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations, and documenting damages to inventory. Shipping and Receiving Clerk should be able to perform efficiently in a warehouse and dispatch environment by handling incoming and outgoing deliveries. Responsible for scheduling large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments. Individual must keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers. Clerk will handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling, ensure adherence to environmental management and systems, troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise, and work to solve them

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Receiving parts, including placing them into inventory and properly labeling them

·        Preparing outgoing shipments

·        Receiving incoming shi8pments

·        Organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in

·        Reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations

·        Documenting damages to inventory

·        Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage shipments

·        Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports

·        Maintain records for reference for appropriate personnel

·        Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling, ensure adherence to environmental management and systems

·        Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise

·        Provide support to parts manager and take over their duties when unavailable

·        Provide support to service department-ensuring that inventory is available for scheduled jobs

·        Staging service jobs and providing support to scheduler as needed

Minor Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Minor janitorial work

·        Perform minor repairs in building

·        Assemble furniture as needed

·        Maintain shop cleanliness
