TRC Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading SAP and supply chain consulting firm to hire an SAP MDG Finance Functional Consultant . This role will support enterprise master data governance initiatives within a federal SAP S/4HANA environment, helping improve financial data quality, governance processes, and consistency across integrated systems.
ResponsibilitiesLead requirements gathering sessions and workshops focused on financial master data governance.
Configure SAP MDG Finance solutions, including data modeling, workflow configuration, UI FPM, BRF+, and process design.
Support governance processes for General Ledger Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, and Company Codes.
Configure and maintain Data Replication Framework (DRF) to support enterprise-wide master data distribution.
Support integrations using SOA Services, Web Services, and IDocs.
Partner with Finance, Controlling, Procurement, Supply Chain, and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Develop functional specifications, configuration documentation, process flows, and governance procedures.
Support testing, UAT, production support, troubleshooting, and enhancement initiatives.
Provide guidance on SAP master data governance best practices and support SAP S/4HANA modernization efforts.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
5+ years of experience supporting SAP MDG, SAP Finance, or related SAP functional disciplines.
Hands-on experience configuring SAP MDG Finance, including workflow configuration, BRF+, UI FPM, data modeling, and DRF.
Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO master data within SAP S/4HANA environments.
Experience managing General Ledger Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, and Company Codes.
Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, and translating business needs into SAP solutions.
Knowledge of SAP integration technologies including IDocs, Web Services, and SOA Services.
Experience supporting enterprise master data governance initiatives within complex SAP landscapes.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
Active Secret Security Clearance required.
U.S. Citizenship required.
SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP FI/CO, or related SAP certifications.
Experience supporting federal government SAP programs.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or ERP modernization initiatives.
Knowledge of MM, Procurement, Supply Chain, and cross-functional SAP integrations.
Consulting experience within large enterprise SAP environments.
