Not Qualifying : Front desk, scheduling, medical assistant, or other office roles without full-time insurance verification/authorization duties Pharmacy, dental, mental health, vision, substance abuse, or medical supply billing experience Location Requirement : Remote – must reside in: AL, AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MI, NC, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, UT, WA What You’ll Do Verify insurance benefits daily using payer portals and direct calls Obtain and track authorizations for therapy services Submit and monitor authorization requests for timely approvals Provide accurate verification/authorization details to clinic staff Communicate professionally with patients and carriers Use correct billing codes to support clean claim submission What You Bring 2+ years of full-time insurance verification and authorization experience in a physician, medical specialty, hospital, or home health setting (required) Strong knowledge of insurance plan terminology, billing guidelines, claims processing, and EOBs Hands-on experience with payer portals and high-volume insurance calls Excellent communication, accuracy, and deadline management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Pay & Benefits $17–$19/hour (based on experience) Industry-leading health insurance 100% Paid Dental, Vision, Life, and LTD 401(k) with company match 120 PTO hours annually + 6 paid holidays Company-provided computer Schedule Full-time | Fully Remote | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST Why FYZICAL Join a team that celebrates wins, supports growth, and helps people feel their best—while advancing your career in insurance verification and authorizations.
