Accountant
The duties of the Accountant consist of but are not limited to the following:
- Participate in daily operations of the Medical Center's accounting system and responsible for systematic verification and appraisal of records, reports, related transaction.
- Maintain accounting records and accumulate cost data.
- Prepare, review, and analyze accounting reports and statements.
- Reviews and complete corrections for reconciliations.
- Perform quarterly quality assurance reviews and monitor corrective actions taken.
- Provide technical assistance to Accounting Technicians in the maintenance of the General Ledger in cost accounting functions.
- Analyze and evaluate current general accounting methods and procedures in terms of adequacy and effectiveness.
Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
Work Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday.
This is not a virtual position.
