Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2340 per week.

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Experience with a large hospital, busy environment. - Must have travel experience; will not consider candidates currently on first travel assignment.

Special Requests: - Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and teaching facility. - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. - Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. - Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. - If previously employed by Sanford Health, the end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission.

Unit Details: - Adult medical/surgical patients, including patients experiencing behavioral disturbances. - Uses telemetry, Philips monitors, bladder scanner, AcuVein, and Omnicell. - Patient ratio is 5:1 on days and 6:1 on nights.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend and holiday required. - Travelers may self-schedule, but only the days off listed in the contract are guaranteed; self-scheduled shifts may be moved to balance unit needs, and if a specific day off cannot be supported, the traveler is expected to arrange a shift trade. - Flexible contract hours: 48 per week will be considered.

Floating Requirements: - Float to any med/surg unit across all 3 Fargo campuses as needed.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
