Optician Opportunity In San Jose, CaAre you a motivated, experienced optician looking to join a thriving, patient-focused practice? This private optometry office has been serving the Bay Area for over 50 years and continues to grow! They are seeking a full-time optician with a proven track record in optical sales to join their outstanding team.Job DescriptionProvide exceptional customer service and eyewear sales support to patients in a fast-paced, multi-doctor practiceAccurately quote and process VSP and Eyemed insurance (VSP and Eyemed experience is a must)Guide patients through frame and lens selection, offering expert recommendations based on their needs and preferencesEnsure precise fitting and adjustments of eyewearMaintain organized records and assist with inventory managementCollaborate with doctors and staff to deliver a seamless patient experienceScheduleFull-time, 4 days per week, alternating schedule for weekend coverageOffice HoursMon-Fri 10 am–7 pm, Sat 9 am–7 pm, Sun 11 am–6 pmCompensation$20–$35 per hour, depending on experience, plus commissionsBenefitsMedical insurance401(k)RequirementsA detail-oriented professional with relevant eye care experience (licensure not required)Strong knowledge of VSP and Eyemed insurance quoting and processingSomeone who brings a positive attitude and great energy to the teamCommitted to providing exceptional client care and fostering a welcoming environmentExhibits a strong work ethicMaintains perfect attendance and punctualityHas reliable transportation to and from the clinicDemonstrates eagerness to learn and grow in their field
