Skills & Experience Required:

• Valid RN license and eligibility to practice in North Carolina
• 1+ years of recent nursing experience in either Stepdown or PCU settings
• Proficiency with monitoring and caring for patients requiring intermediate care
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Stepdown and PCU patients, closely monitoring for changes in health status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and implement care plans
• Utilize advanced monitoring and technology to promptly detect and report patient deterioration
• Educate patients and their families on conditions and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital standards
