Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a surgical setting, with specialization in GYN, plastics, and prostate biopsies.
• Proven proficiency with surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and aseptic protocols.
• Valid AHA BLS certification and NBSTA or NCC certification.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in outpatient surgery centers.
• Additional certifications or training in advanced surgical procedures.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential.
• At least 2 years of recent relevant surgical technologist experience, preferably within specialized fields such as GYN, plastics, or prostate biopsies.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work the schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Willingness to work at Northside Hospital Forsyth Outpatient Surgery Center in Cumming, Georgia.
• Must be currently licensed/certified as required and maintaining compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations.
• No local candidates within 50 miles preferred.
