Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a surgical setting, with specialty-specific expertise
• Current AHA BLS certification
• NBSTA credential
• Proven experience in Orthopedics and Ophthalmology procedures
• Ability to adapt and float to different surgical units as needed
• Strong attention to detail and excellent teamwork skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in outpatient surgery centers
• Familiarity with the specific protocols of Main OR or OP Surgery
• Additional certifications relevant to surgical technology

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
• At least two years of recent, hands-on surgical tech experience in a specialized setting such as orthopedics or ophthalmology

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to float to Main OR (660F) or 1800 OP Surgery on Fridays to satisfy scheduling needs
• Ability to work scheduled hours from 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with flexibility to guarantee 40 hours per week
• Commitment to maintaining licensure and certifications
• Willingness to work at our Northside Forsyth Outpatient Surgery location in Cumming, Georgia, and potentially at other sites as needed
