RN Supervisor – Morning & Evening Shifts

Location: Brooklyn, NY
Salary: $52–$60 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shifts Available: Morning Shift & Evening Shift

Ditmas Park Nursing & Rehab is seeking experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisors to join our nursing leadership team. We currently have openings for both morning and evening shifts .

The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff during the assigned shift, ensuring quality resident care, maintaining appropriate staffing and documentation, and making sure nursing policies and procedures are consistently followed.

This position requires a strong RN who is comfortable supervising a nursing team, handling clinical issues as they arise, and working closely with the Director of Nursing and other facility leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff during the assigned shift

• Oversee resident care and ensure nursing standards and facility policies are followed

• Provide direction and clinical support to nursing staff

• Handle admissions, changes in condition, and other clinical issues that arise during the shift

• Ensure medications, treatments, physician orders, and documentation are completed appropriately

• Communicate with physicians, pharmacy, residents, and families as needed

• Monitor staffing and ensure appropriate nursing coverage throughout the shift

• Review nursing documentation and resident records for accuracy and completeness

• Respond to incidents and emergencies and ensure appropriate follow-up and documentation

• Communicate important resident and staffing updates to nursing leadership

• Help maintain a professional, organized, and resident-focused nursing environment

Qualifications

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience required

• Previous RN Supervisor or nursing leadership experience strongly preferred

• Strong clinical and supervisory skills

• Ability to manage staff and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the assigned shift

Schedule

We are currently hiring for:

• Morning Shift RN Supervisor

• Evening Shift RN Supervisor

• Weekday availability

• Every other weekend availability required
