Key Job Details – Virginia Healthcare Jobs Location: Midlothian, Virginia (23114) – Richmond area Setting: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Job Type: Travel Nursing Contract Start Date: October 20, 2025 End Date: January 17, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours/week Shift: 12-hour days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) No on-call required Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250 Registered Nurse Qualifications – Cardiac & EP Lab Active RN license in Virginia or compact state (Virginia nursing jobs) Minimum 2 years of recent EP Lab nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications required NIH Stroke Certification required EPIC EHR experience preferred Critical care nursing experience and conscious sedation skills required Ability to float to Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) as needed Experience with cardiac mapping (Carto) and monitoring/running pacing systems for ablations Scrubbing experience preferred EP Lab RN Responsibilities – Healthcare Jobs in Virginia Monitor and circulate for cardiac ablations, pacemaker insertions, AICDs, BIVs, and loop recorders Perform and monitor cardiac procedures including SVT, AFLUTTER, AV NODE Ablations (St. Jude EP 4 stimulator) Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Administer medications and conscious sedation safely Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to Cath Lab and IR as needed Serve as a patient safety advocate and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives Educate patients and families, supporting them throughout procedures and recovery Ready to take the next step in your cardiac nursing career?
