Irrigation Technician

Responsibilities: • Work with the team lead and other techs to repair and install irrigation systems • Provide advice to clients on optimal water usage for their irrigation system • Identify and address problems with residential and commercial irrigation systems • Expertise in the maintenance and repair of irrigation components such as pipes, sprinkler heads, controls, valves, and pumps • Familiarity with smart water devices such as HydraWise and Rachio • Assist the crew lead in guaranteeing efficient job execution and high-quality customer service • Perform routine maintenance of irrigation systems for activation and draining • Assist other departments in times of need. We are small and growing, and require work in other areas such as landscaping • Foster a positive and hardworking atmosphere within the team • Desire to get a license, if you don't have one already, and to move up over time. Qualifications: • Possesses a High School Diploma or GED • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and can-do attitude • Observes safety standards • Has a minimum of two years of experience in the irrigation industry • Knows how to operate CRM programs • Maintains a clean driving record and meets the company vehicle insurance requirements • Is willing to help the team • Is detail-oriented, organized, and able to document processes • Displays a high energy level, positive outlook, and forward-thinking attitude • Understands the tools, materials, techniques, and mechanics of an irrigation system • Proficient in operating grounds and landscaping equipment Compensation: $21 - $26 hourly
