Description

• Conduct patient evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient settings, designing tailored treatment plans that cater to individual needs.
• Administer physical therapy interventions that emphasize mobility, strength, balance, and overall function.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and effective home exercise programs.
• Thoroughly document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress, adhering to facility protocols and regulatory standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team rounds and conferences to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is highly preferred.
• Specialized certifications (e.g., in geriatrics or neurology) are beneficial but not mandatory.

Skills

• Prior experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred.
