Location - 1536 North Jefferson Street, Jacksonville, FL 32209 Essential Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
- Decontaminate, sterilize and assemble dental and/or surgical instrument sets and reprocessing flexible endoscopes
- Maintain, store and packing of reusable medical equipment (RME) as well as document sterilization and decontamination processes
- Examine condition of supply items
- Assemble/Package/Wraps/Sterilize supply items
- Distribute items to wards, clinic units or operating rooms
- Receive, store, control supply item stock
- Certified Surgical Tech or Certified Sterilization Tech
- CBSPD Certification
- IAHCSMM Certified or CRCST Certified
- At least 1 year of experience in related field
- Direct work experience working in a healthcare setting with Dental and/or surgical instrumentation and endoscopes
