Your next big career move: Service Advisor located in Elmhurst, IL. This role is temporary, with the potential to transition to a permanent position and transfer to the Bolingbrook branch.

Shift: Tuesday - Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm and Saturday 8:00am - Noon

The opportunity (job purpose): Are you ready to make a visible impact? As our next Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service. We are looking for an energetic, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is eager to grow with us.

What you'll do day-to-day (essential duties & responsibilities):

• Process all shop repair orders by scheduling & assigning work to shop associates.
• Document and diagnose necessary repairs by taking photographs.
• Work closely with communication with customers and insurance companies to obtain necessary authorization and documentation relating to repair work.
• Monitor job schedules to ensure timeliness of repairs and job pricing.
• Complete invoicing and collecting procedures in a timely manner.
• Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers.
• Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business.

What we're looking for (qualifications & skills):

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of related automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Windows. Must possess demonstrated skills in computer-generated business systems.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL required, or ability to obtain.
• Priority setting skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Technical skills/knowledge.
• Dependable and reliable attendance required.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to stand and walk; lift and carry up to 20 pounds; simple grasp, firm grasp and fine manipulation; work near moving mechanical equipment; use a variety of air tools and basic hand tools; use safety glasses, gloves, and shoes; talk or hear.
