Personal Caregiver Job Summary: Back-to-School Shifts - Work While the Children are in School! Join Right at Home Morgantown, a leading home care franchise system, as a Personal Caregiver! As a caregiver, you will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care services to our clients. Responsibilities: Provide services in accordance with an established plan of care, including: Assisting with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their home Performing housekeeping activities, such as vacuuming, dusting, and laundry Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions and specialized diets Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments Personal Care: Bathing, Showering, Dressing, Shaving, Assistance with Dressing Medication reminders Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises Dementia care Companionship activities, such as reading, music, and puzzles Observe and Report changes in the client's condition or intake condition Check vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen Assist with change of ostomy appliances Reinforce dressings (non-sterile) Measure intake and output Qualifications and Skills: High School Graduate or G.E.D Certificate Preferred Must be able to pass a background, fingerprint, and drug screening Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job Must be able to lift or move 50 pounds without assistance Have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance Current and valid CPR and First Aid What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate of $14 - $17 Opportunities to grow in knowledge, expertise, and responsibility Flexible scheduling, including part-time and full-time options All shifts available, including days, evenings, and weekends Bonuses and incentives for working a variety of shifts Extra compensation on holidays and weekend differential pay Bi-weekly paychecks No trips to the office to drop off paperwork - document on your phone!
