Job Title Direct Support Professional I & II Position Details Hourly Rate: $18.00/hr Shift: Part — Time PM Shift 2PM to 10PM (Friday — Monday) Location: La Puente, CA 91744 Work Setting: One Location (Not Remote) About Redwood Family Care Network Redwood Family Care Network is a leader in providing person‑centered home and community‑based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. What You’ll Do Assist adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, supporting independence, health, and personal growth. Assist with hygiene, grooming, dietary, and dressing needs. Support clients with bathroom needs. Change clothing/undergarments when necessary. Prepare meals and complete cleanup. Follow daily routines outlined in the Individual Program Plan (IPP). Redirect behaviors through activities such as walking, reading, games, math, and computer tasks. Provide safe transportation in company vans when required. Education & Experience Requirements Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED. Certifications Required: CPR/First Aid. Experience: 1 year of personal or professional experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (e.g., Autism) or mental health conditions (e.g., Bipolar) strongly preferred. Driving Requirements: Valid in‑state driver’s license. Must be 21 years or older. Current registration and insurance. Driving record with no more than 2 points in the past 3 years. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Full‑Time Employee Benefits PTO time. Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
