divh2Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)/h2pThe Physical Therapist Assistant supports patient rehabilitation by implementing physical therapy treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist. This role focuses on reducing pain, restoring function, preventing disability, and promoting overall health and wellness through therapeutic interventions./ppResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:/pulliDeliver physical therapy treatments in accordance with established plans of care./liliAdapt treatment approaches to meet each patients learning style and therapeutic needs while considering psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual factors./liliProvide interventions addressing musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular, and developmental conditions./liliDocument patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes accurately and timely per hospital guidelines./liliCollaborate regularly with the Physical Therapist to review patient goals, progress, and care adjustments./liliAssist with scheduling and caseload management as needed./liliContribute to departmental performance through mentoring, in-services, training initiatives, and performance improvement efforts./liliMaintain professional development through continuing education and licensure requirements./liliCommunicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams regarding patient progress and care needs./liliMaintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment./liliPerform additional duties as assigned./li/ulpLicenses Certifications (Required)/pulliActive South Carolina Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Certification/liliCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification/li/ul/div
