This role involves collaborative patient care planning, assessment, and intervention, including labor, postpartum, and neonatal care, with additional cross-training in neonatal intensive care. The position requires responsiveness to patient needs and active engagement with families to ensure optimal birthing experiences. Job Details: Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: State license verification, applicable certifications, and evidence of nursing education. Experience requirement: 0 years. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Labor and Delivery, postpartum, or NICU care is advantageous. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care in Labor and Delivery, postpartum, and Neonatal Intensive Care units, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and demonstrating proficiency in technical skills related to maternal and neonatal health. Floating to other hospital departments outside Maternal Child Health, such as Post Partum, NICU, or Labor and Delivery, may be required on a rotational basis. This position involves active participation in patient assessments, care planning, and family education, with a focus on person-centered care and safety standards. Candidates must be prepared to start on or after September 28, 2026, with the assignment ending December 27, 2026. Submission requirements include licensing verification and completion of the Epic Questionnaire through the designated system.
