Merchandiser (Part Time Position) This role is responsible for merchandising fresh bakery products in local accounts/grocery stores to ensure adequate product availability on the shelf and on displays. The position serves the Sacramento and Rocklin, CA areas. Benefits Competitive starting pay $28.10/hour Full benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Plan, etc. Shift options available: 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift Responsibilities Keep bread aisle and display locations stocked appropriately in stores. Maintain clean and organized back‑room product inventory. Rotate products according to color code. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age or older. Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card. Successfully able to obtain Chauffeur License if the job location is in IN, MI, TN. Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods as well as frequent reaching and use of fingers. Reliable transportation. (In some locations, merchandisers are required to drive a DOT regulated route truck; candidates must meet DOT requirements including Medical Card, Road Test, and be 21 years or older.) Consistent with U.S. Department of Transportation regulations, the ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
