Salary: $388,918 - 388,918 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline, along with 10 years of experience in the role offered or in a comparable position such as Director of Software Engineering, Software Development Manager, Technical Consultant, Software Engineer, or Systems Analyst/Engineer.
• Alternatively, we will accept a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline, plus 7 years of experience in the role offered or in a comparable position such as Director of Software Engineering, Software Development Manager, Technical Consultant, Software Engineer, or Systems Analyst/Engineer.
• We require 7 years of experience leading and mentoring engineering teams to design, build, and deploy cloud-native, data-driven applications in distributed systems, including supervising software engineers, software architects, or engineering managers.
• We require 5 years of experience architecting and designing software systems for complex distributed systems, database scalability, and financial technology challenges.
• We require 5 years of experience developing enterprise-grade applications using Java Spring Boot or C++ for payment orchestration, transaction processing, automation, and large-scale data analysis.
• We require 5 years of experience building and scaling high-throughput, real-time payments platforms such as payment gateways, clearing systems, ISO 20022 integrations, or real-time transaction services.
• We require 4 years of experience implementing Agile practices and CI/CD pipelines, including continuous integration, deployment automation, application resiliency, production observability, and application security compliance.
• We require 4 years of experience automating large-scale, high-performance data transformation systems supporting financial product innovation, multi-market clearing deployments, or regulatory compliance.
• We require 4 years of experience implementing observability and self-healing frameworks, including automated recovery, alerting, monitoring, and debugging tools to improve MTTD and MTTR in mission-critical systems.

• We oversee the design, architecture, and deployment of large-scale, cloud-native financial systems with a focus on availability, resiliency, and compliance.
• We lead and mentor software engineers delivering payment and clearing applications that handle real-time, high-throughput transactions.
• We define engineering roadmaps and technical strategies aligned with enterprise financial services objectives and regulatory requirements.
• We direct the design and implementation of payments solutions, including payment gateways, ISO 20022 clearing integrations, and real-time transaction platforms.
• We architect and optimize data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka and Spark Structured Streaming for low-latency transaction processing.
• We implement enterprise CI/CD pipelines, resiliency frameworks, and security controls to support continuous delivery of regulated financial applications.
• We manage cloud deployments on AWS and ensure scalable performance across global financial markets.
• We oversee large-scale data pipelines and ETL systems to improve data processing for financial products and customer reporting.
• We collaborate with external financial institutions and clearing houses to establish secure integration agreements and interoperability for cross-border payments.
• We drive continuous improvement by adopting modern engineering practices, improving latency benchmarks, and optimizing resource use.
• We partner with senior stakeholders to provide technical leadership, maintain regulatory alignment, and deliver enhancements within budget and schedule.
