Sleep Medicine Physician – Independent Practice Track (MedCBO Supported) Independent practice opportunity for sleep medicine physicians with full clinical autonomy and structured non‑clinical support. About the Position This role is for physicians who want to establish or transition to an independently owned practice while receiving comprehensive administrative support from MedCBO. Physicians maintain ownership and clinical control; MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational services. Overview

• Physicians own and operate their own practice entity.
• MedCBO supplies revenue cycle management, payer contracting, EHR and technology, credentialing, financial reporting, HR and staffing, and supply‑chain coordination.
• The physician governs all clinical operations, decisions, and patient care policies.

Physician Responsibilities Provide clinical care within the sleep medicine specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO as required. Determine clinical services offered and manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in sleep medicine or a related specialty. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in and commitment to the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Interest in community‑based care. Leadership or program development experience. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is not a salary and is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
