Medical Receptionist Alexandria VaOxon Hill or Fair Oaks Pay From: $19.50 per hour MUST: 2+ years of recent experience in a multi-provider physician practice Experienced with Allscripts EMR Checking patients in Collecting and updating patient demographics Scheduling appointments Verifying insurance Answering phones and providing customer service support Entering and updating patient information in Allscripts EMR Handling translations for Spanish speaking patientsDUTIES: The duties of the Medical Receptionist include but are not limited to the following: Document and update patient information in Allscripts EMR Schedule appointments Check patients in Collect and update demographic information Verify insurance coverage Respond to patient inquiries Answer phones Collect and process co pays Assist with handling translations for Spanish speaking patients Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
