Tax Senior/ Supervisor - Real Estate & Advisory Focus (Remote)

We are seeking professionals who want to build a long-term career path with clear advancement opportunities, including future leadership and partnership potential.What You'll Be DoingAs a Tax Supervisor, you'll manage client relationships, oversee tax compliance and planning, review returns, mentor staff, and serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and investors.A significant portion of our work involves real estate tax planning, so you'll regularly advise clients on:Cost segregation studiesReal Estate Professional Status (REPS)Short-term rental strategiesPassive activity loss rulesDepreciation and entity structuring opportunitiesSuccessful candidates should be comfortable evaluating whether a client can actually benefit from these strategies, not just understanding the concepts.Technology & AIWe actively leverage AI throughout our workflow, including:Tax research and analysisClient communicationsDrafting and refining written deliverablesData analysis and workflow efficiencyWe are looking for professionals who use AI as a daily productivity tool across both technical and client-facing work.What You Need for This PositionRequired4+ years of public accounting experienceActive CPA, EA, or JDExperience with business and individual taxationDirect client-facing experienceExperience reviewing returns and mentoring staffStrongly PreferredSignificant real estate tax experienceExperience with cost segregation, REPS, short-term rentals, and passive activity rulesExperience serving HNWIs, partnerships, S corps, trusts, estates, and closely held businessesExperience advising clients with $1M-$20M in annual revenueRegular use of AI tools in both technical and written client workIdeal CandidateThe strongest candidates will have hands-on experience advising real estate investors, understand the decision-making framework behind cost segregation and related planning strategies, and already use AI extensively throughout their workflow rather than solely for research or administrative tasks.BenefitsBase Salary: $100,000-$130,000Medical, Dental, VisionMajority of Premium covered by employer401k w/ 3.5% MatchCell Phone AllowanceFlex HoursFully Remote Capability$500 weekend sabbatical during busy seasonFirm fully closes for week following 4/15 & 10/15 deadlinesBusy Season Hours: 45-60 hours - Builds up to 55hr avg. w/ 60 hr. maxSummer Hours ~25-30hrs per week
