Fabricator Helper/Metal Grinder
Local Pipe and Water Works Supply Company seeking a Fabricator Helper/Metal Grinder to join their team! 1st Shift Fabricator Helper Location: Pell City, AL Schedule: Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 12:30 AM Pay: $17.00 This company specializes in producing, repairing and fabricating metal parts used for the water department and other water works companies.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in making and repairing metal parts and pipes
- Use tools to cut, bend, and put parts together
- Grind and smooth metal parts
- Check parts to make sure they are made correctly
- Read simple blueprints or drawings
- Keep a safe and clean work area
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with metal and tools
- Able to read drawings or blueprints
- Can lift 50 lbs over and over
- Know how to use measuring tools
