Dock CoordinatorThe Dock Coordinator oversees inbound dock operations and serves as the primary point of contact for drivers and internal teams. This role ensures efficient scheduling, proper documentation, and smooth flow of inbound shipments.Shift: 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am on a rotational scheduleKey Responsibilities:Assign dock doors and manage inbound scheduling and flow of trucksVerify Bills of Lading (BOLs) and ensure accurate documentationDirect drivers and maintain an organized check-in/check-out processCommunicate with warehouse teams to coordinate unloading and stagingMonitor dock activity to prevent congestion and delaysEnsure compliance with safety and operational procedures on the dockRequirements:Ability to work in a fast-paced dock environment and stand for extended periodsExperience with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment
