Shipping Coordinator, 1st ShiftCompany: Kilian Manufacturing, a Regal Rexnord brand Location: Syracuse, New York Shift: First Shift Pay Range: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experiencePosition OverviewKilian Manufacturing is seeking an organized and dependable Shipping Coordinator to join our first-shift Shipping Team. In this role, you will help coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and ensure products move efficiently and accurately from our facility to our customers.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. This position works closely with carriers, suppliers, warehouse employees, and other internal teams to support timely shipments, accurate documentation, and excellent customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to support accurate and timely delivery.Prepare, review, and maintain shipping records and required documentation.Schedule and communicate with carriers regarding pickups, deliveries, and shipment status.Work with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers to resolve shipping or receiving issues.Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality, and compliance.Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and assist with cycle counts.Use shipping systems and carrier software, including UPS and FedEx applications.Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping and receiving area.Follow established safety procedures and applicable shipping requirements.Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes, efficiency, and accuracy.QualificationsAt least two years of shipping, logistics, warehouse, or related coordination experience preferred.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize responsibilities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve shipping and logistics issues.Microsoft Office and general computer proficiency.Experience with UPS, FedEx, or similar shipping software preferred.SAP system experience preferred.Forklift experience preferred.Ability to work effectively with employees across multiple departments.Physical and Work RequirementsMust be at least 18 years old.Ability to stand for extended periods during the workday.Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to safely maneuver oversized or heavy materials and equipment.Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may not be climate-controlled.Ability to use a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or other workplace technology as needed.What We OfferCompetitive hourly pay ranging from $18.00 to $25.00, based on relevant experience and qualificationsFirst-shift scheduleOpportunity to contribute to a collaborative manufacturing and logistics teamA safety-focused workplaceOpportunities to develop shipping, inventory, logistics, and SAP system experienceAbout Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord is a global industrial manufacturer committed to providing innovative solutions that help keep the world moving.
