Associate Customer Insights Manager

Job Summary The Associate Market Research Manager is responsible for supporting Dexcom’s business strategy through customer insights and data storytelling. The role supports U.S. and global brand research for Dexcom’s core brands, aligning research design and execution with company strategy. Responsibilities Lead primary qualitative and quantitative research projects, including clarifying objectives, designing methodology, developing questionnaires and discussion guides, programming surveys, analysing data, and producing summative reports. Support or lead a variety of project types such as creative concept testing, messaging & communications testing, brand tracking, brand equity measurement, market landscape, market opportunity assessment, and similar projects. Work closely with internal stakeholders and external research partners to develop methodology and execute fieldwork. Manage logistics of research initiatives and vendor management, including screener development, respondent recruitment, and administrative tasks (e.g., project proposals, vendor setup, invoice processing, document control). Create clear storylines with insightful data and provide recommendations by integrating research findings with existing team knowledge. Analyse syndicated and secondary research to support primary projects, synthesise insights, and identify common themes. Apply AI‑enabled and machine‑learning‑supported approaches to synthesize high‑volume unstructured inputs such as social listening, app reviews, Amazon reviews, and verbatim feedback. Ensure compliance with quality standards and requirements. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience planning and executing qualitative and quantitative market research projects in pharmaceutical, med‑tech/medical‑device, or consumer packaged goods organizations. Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to translate data into compelling stories and influence stakeholders through insight‑led recommendations. Strong analytical skills, including quantitative data analysis and knowledge of advanced research methods such as conjoint, discrete choice modelling, price elasticity, and segmentation. Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across research deliverables. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross‑functional partners. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and execute projects with appropriate supervision. Advanced user of PowerPoint and Excel; basic statistics knowledge. Preferred Skills and Experience Experience in the diabetes space. Experience with syndicated and secondary research. Knowledge of payer/insurance landscape in the US. Experience using AI‑supported synthesis or machine‑learning‑enabled listening tools to analyse large volumes of qualitative or unstructured feedback. Familiarity with emerging data sources such as social listening, app and marketplace reviews, CRM data, dashboards, or external intelligence platforms.
