Role Overview: Regional Vice President of Communications & External Affairs A leading multi-site healthcare system is seeking an accomplished Regional Vice President of Communications & External Affairs to lead enterprise-wide communications, public relations, and stakeholder engagement across a complex and fast-growing healthcare network. This is a senior executive leadership role responsible for shaping corporate and regional communications strategy, strengthening brand reputation, managing media and crisis communications, and serving as a key spokesperson and advisor to executive leadership. The role plays a critical part in advancing organizational growth, advocacy efforts, employee engagement, and external relations. Key Responsibilities Lead enterprise-wide communications, PR, and external affairs strategy Serve as regional spokesperson and manage media and crisis communications Drive executive, internal, and investor communications Oversee digital, social media, and brand positioning Lead communications for acquisitions and major strategic initiatives Build relationships with government officials, stakeholders, and community partners Advise senior leadership on reputation management and strategic messaging Mentor communications teams and oversee budgets Candidate Profile Leadership experience in corporate healthcare communications Expertise in media relations, crisis management, and executive communications Strong understanding of healthcare policy, regulation, and stakeholder engagement Proven ability to advise C-suite and board-level executives Excellent writing, presentation, and leadership skills Experience in multi-site acute hospital care is preferred Experience with Union representatives desired We are committed to equality of opportunity for all.
