Mitigation Project Manager

OVERVIEW Jenkins Restorations upholds a vision to be the restoration firm of choice in existing and future markets while upholding Biblical values. The Water Mitigation Project Manager reports to the General Manager with accountability for providing excellent service for those who have been victims of disaster and for restoring property and lives with a servant's heart. They should embody Jenkins Restorations' core values, including, C an-do Attitude, E xcellent Execution, D o the Right Thing, A ctions of a Servant, and R esponsible Stewardship ( C.E.D.A.R ). The Water Mitigation Project Manager is responsible for Water Mitigation and Emergency Services projects. The primary responsibilities will be project management, estimating, and technician management. This is an on-call role that requires the PM to work in the field and in the office for customers in need of restoration services. Local Sales and Marketing efforts may be required in conjunction with daily duties.
Water Mitigation - These types of projects are for water damage restoration.
Emergency Services - These types of projects are for external and internal stabilization of damaged buildings. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES for the Water Mitigation Project Manager :
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
The Water Mitigation Project Manager must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Demonstrate the ability to write routine reports, correspondence, and the ability to speak effectively to customers and/or employees of organization in the English language. TECHNICAL SKILLS :
To perform this job successfully, the Water Mitigation Project Manager should have knowledge of industry related software be able to "touch type" and be familiar with software like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.); able to communicate via cell phone and appropriate apps. REASONING ABILITY:
The Water Mitigation Project Manager should possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. They should also have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form in the English language. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is also frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places. The Water Mitigation Project Manager is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Appropriate safety equipment is furnished. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has supervisory responsibilities. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Emergency Services - These types of projects are for external and internal stabilization of damaged buildings. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES for the Water Mitigation Project Manager :
- Respond to all Mitigation & Emergency Services jobs with service issues
- Hire and train Mitigation & Emergency Service Technicians
- Supervise Mitigation & Emergency Service Technicians
- Coordinate responses to new jobs
- Scope new projects for estimating purposes
- Manage projects/jobs
- Estimate work using Xactimate, Symbility, or other estimating platforms
- Track and monitor online control points (dates/times) via internal and external websites
- Communicate with insurance adjusters and other decision makers
- Negotiate estimates with insurance adjusters, third party administrator, and/or third-party reviewers as applicable
- Handle project budgeting & invoicing
- Collect on invoiced work
- Manage and monitor sub-contractor work and approve/deny contractor invoices
- Find and develop new sub-contractor relationships as necessary
- Conduct sales and marketing efforts in branch market to generate new leads and relationships
- All other duties as assigned
- Education: Associates degree (A.A or A.S) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with a record of strong academic achievement.
- Experience: At least six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
