Job Title: Senior Solutions Architect (Enterprise Systems & Integration)

Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and integration of complex enterprise software systems. In this role, you will act as the technical bridge between business needs and engineering execution, designing end-to-end solutions that are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices. You will own the architectural vision for high-impact projects, facilitating stakeholder workshops, creating detailed technical blueprints, and providing hands-on guidance to development teams.

This is a high-level technical role for a professional who thrives on bridging the gap between functional requirements and technical reality. You will be responsible for defining project scope, conducting feasibility studies, and overseeing the deployment of complex data exchanges and system interfaces. Key Responsibilities
Architectural Design & Strategy
• Solution Definition: Identify and analyze functional/non-functional requirements; define project scope and technical feasibility for enterprise-wide IT initiatives.
• Technical Blueprinting: Develop comprehensive design documentation, architecture diagrams, and technical artifacts. Present implementation options and recommended solutions to executive leadership.
• Modeling & Standards: Apply industry-standard modeling techniques (e.g., TOGAF, C4, UML) to structure project designs and ensure architectural consistency across the enterprise.
• Technology Research: Continuously review emerging technologies and architectural strategies to ensure our stack remains aligned with modern industry best practices.

Systems Integration & Development
• Data Exchange: Identify system integration points and develop schemas, APIs, and ETL processes to facilitate secure data flow between internal and external systems.
• Technical Leadership: Collaborate with application development teams to monitor progress, conduct code reviews, and ensure design guidelines are strictly met.
• Interface Management: Develop services, RESTful APIs, and integration layers in collaboration with system architects; support external partners and vendors in testing and interface connectivity.

Stakeholder Collaboration
• Facilitation: Lead workshops, steering committees, and stakeholder interviews to refine requirements and set development priorities.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Clearly document and present design tradeoffs to project sponsors, management, and end-user groups.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent specialized experience).
• Experience Baseline: Minimum of 3-4 years of senior-level experience in designing, analyzing, coding, and testing application or system software.
• Technical Mastery:
oExtensive experience with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and object-oriented programming.
oProficiency in software modeling frameworks (e.g., C4, 4+1, or TOGAF) and diagramming tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio).
oStrong experience in integrating information systems and designing data exchanges.
• Core Competencies: Ability to work independently with limited supervision; proven ability to lead technical meetings and influence senior stakeholders; excellent technical writing skills.

Preferred Attributes
• Hands-on experience with modern web development stacks (e.g., C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework).
• Deep understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), design patterns, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience managing data ecosystems using SQL Server, including complex queries, views, and ETL processes (SSIS).
• Familiarity with Cloud-native deployment, API specification development (OpenAPI/Swagger), and securing services using industry best practices.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and Git for source control and automated delivery.
• Curiosity for researching new development methodologies and a desire to shape the technological direction of the department.
