Systems AdministratorSt. Louis, MO**ACTIVE TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED**The Systems Administrator (SA) will work as part of an elite and agile team responsible for maintaining and improving system functionality through proactive interaction with the customer, comprehensive understanding of their primary GEOINT exploitation system, and knowledge of the production mission. The successful candidate will provide on-site, on the floor, technical and system administration support through troubleshooting and implementing appropriate solutions to software/hardware anomalies as they occur. The SA will automate Software deployments, package Software, troubleshoot VDI endpoints, virtual machines and Geospatial/corporate software issues as well as make corrective recommendations as necessary. Likewise, the candidate should be able to quickly respond to application/hardware related issues, resolve on the spot problems (where possible), replicate the issue for internal analysis/diagnosis, and assist in the preparation of technical documentation that can accurately depict the problem and/or solution for feedback to the team.What You Get To Do Every Day:Manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systemsMaintain the integrity and security of servers and systemsSet up administrator and service accountsMaintain system documentationInteract with users and evaluate vendor productsMake recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinate installation and provide backup recoveryDevelop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resourcesMay program in an administrative languageDevelop and implement testing strategies and document resultsProvide advice and training to end-usersProvide guidance and work leadership to less experienced staff membersMaintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assignedParticipate in special projects as required.What You Need:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience5-10 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.Provides support for maintenance and change requests of all user-facing devices and systemsAttention to detail, strong organizational skillsStrong writing skills (document creation and note taking)Strong time management skillsAbility to work within a team for projects and/or tasksMulti-mission environment experienceExperience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to troubleshoot and document various problemsExcellent customer service skillsDesired Skills:Knowledge or understanding of the following methodologies:Software package/binary deployment (Tanium, Numecent, XenApp, SCCM/MECM)Service+ experienceThin Client operating systems and virtual hosted desktop OS (AVD/ThinPro/Citrix)Client operating systems (Windows 11)Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Azure Virtual Desktop, ESX/vSphere4, XenDesktop)Advanced Scripting in Python / PowerShellLog Analysis experience for troubleshootingAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $130-$140k.
