Academic Rheumatologist

Position Details Outpatient rheumatology practice with a broad range of autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions Inpatient consult service responsibilities Participation in multidisciplinary clinics and care models Exposure to complex and diverse rheumatologic diseases Robust academic environment with opportunities to teach medical students, residents, and fellows Opportunities to develop or participate in clinical and/or translational research Collaborative care model with APPs, nurses, and support staff Qualifications MD/DO or equivalent degree with board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology Demonstrated clinical expertise in rheumatologic disease management Strong commitment to medical education and mentorship Interest or experience in clinical research is highly desirable Eligibility for faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level Eligibility for medical licensure in New York State Dedication to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse populations Benefits Competitive base salary range $240,000-$270,000 based on rank and experience.
