Med-Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM. Must work every other weekend and every other holiday.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Med-Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical telemetry unit.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and telemetry data.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement effective care plans.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and take appropriate actions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license.
• Experience in a Med-Surg Telemetry unit preferred.
• Current certifications such as BLS and ACLS are required.
