Job Overview A law firm seeks an Employment and Labor Associate to join its team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will possess 2-6 years of experience in employment practice, with a strong foundation in employment law and litigation. This role involves working closely with partners and clients, providing legal counsel, and managing litigation matters. Duties Provide day-to-day employment and human resources counseling for clients. Review, analyze, and draft employment agreements and policies. Handle employment litigation, including single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits. Conduct depositions, manage discovery, and argue motions. Advise on traditional labor and NLRB matters. Manage employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Formulate legal strategies for litigation matters. Conduct internal investigations. Requirements 2-6 years of employment litigation and counseling experience. Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the practicing state. Trial experience is a plus. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in the practicing state. Skills Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills.
