Key Responsibilities In this position, you will engage in various therapeutic practices tailored to meet the needs of your clients. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting initial assessments to understand the mental health concerns and backgrounds of individuals and families. Providing individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, addressing dynamics such as communication issues and relational conflicts. Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients dealing with challenges like grief, separation, divorce, and blended family dynamics. Creating a safe, nurturing environment that fosters trust and openness, enabling clients to express their thoughts and feelings. Documenting treatment progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with state regulations and clinic policies. Collaborating with other mental health professionals within the clinic to deliver comprehensive support and resources to clients. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will primarily focus on a diverse client base, including: Couples seeking to improve their relationships through marriage counseling. Families navigating challenges such as sibling conflicts, job stress, and medical concerns. Individuals dealing with personal issues such as alcohol abuse, grief, and adjustment difficulties. Your expertise in marriage and family therapy will empower clients to overcome obstacles and build healthier, fulfilling relationships. Qualifications A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for establishing therapeutic relationships with clients. Empathy, a nonjudgmental attitude, and the ability to create an inclusive environment for all clients. Excellent organizational and time management skills are necessary for effectively managing a flexible caseload. Preferred Experience Experience working in outpatient settings or with similar populations is preferred. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital documentation tools will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
